I think I'm going to get a Ryobi battery trimmer.

Any reviews? Comments?

I have an average amount of trimming. More than a subdivision lot, but an hour should be sufficient time.

I have a ryobi electric push mower trimmer and blower. Bought them almost 2 years ago and have been very satisfied.

Ryobi is not a brand. It's Chinese white label which home Depot has named Ryobi.

The reviews in their stuff are pretty solid.

Just wondering if I should get the "brushless" model since it's only a little more, or just the attachment capable model.

I'm not even sure what the difference is yet.

I have the 40v blower and trimmer. I prefer the echo blower and trimmer I have but sometimes my son helps with yard work and it’s much easier for him to handle. The blower comes in handy when I want to blow the grass off the zero turn mower before putting it away. And my younger son likes to use the blower to blow the grass clippings off the driveway.

I am on my second battery because my son left the blower out in a rainstorm. Other then that zero problems with either product.

7/8 of a canadian yard is only about half an american yard though

I bought a Ryobi 40V string trimmer about four years ago and and I love it. I have since bought their 40V hedge trimmer, 40V blower, and acouple of batteries. I am very happy with all of them, although I do admit that gas blowers seem to have a lot more power.

I would definitely recommend Ryobi. I'm very happy with mine.

After another poster said he got the hedge trimmer I remembered I have that as well. I do need to get another battery but I did note that amazon sells a knockoff Rhône 40v battery for a fraction of what h9me depot sells there’s at.
