I smoked cigarettes for the first time in over 2 years

I fell off the wagon this week. Boredom got to me, and had some smokes with my buddies this week. Anyone else blow it during quarantine?

If you’ve been smoke free for 2 years it shouldn’t be much of an issue for you. If it was only 2 months I’d say you done messed up.

I’m only 7 months in to quitting, I’m still at the point where the cravings are bad but the smell makes me want to puke.

I smoked a cigarette the other day for the first time in half a year. It tasted nasty, felt funny holding it, and made me feel sick.

Very odd how can a person wouldn’t think of living without it at one point and be disgusted after a period of time. Funny how the mind works.

I didn't buy a pack, I just smoked a lot of my friends cigarettes. We were drinking too, so that didn't help any. I felt like shite the next day.

I have learned the hard way that smoking just one cigarette and I’ll be buying a pack the next day. Cold turkey is the only way.

Did the same thing under the same circumstances after 8 months. Haven't done it since though even over there.

Nope. I'm at 4.5 years now and don't plan on having to go through quitting again, though I would like to smoke a cigar every now and then.

Try the Uncle Buck method. His plan to quit smoking was moving from cigarettes to cigars, then to pipes, and then chewing tobacco.
