If I’m about to be taking to pound town for $12.99 for a lb of cheap arse macaroni pasta with a little cheese sprinkled on the top, you best believe I about to make sure it’s at least edible.

She probably went to the olives afterwards. I've seen people pick olives from the containers. Yuck.

Buying food much less eating it from a hot bar inside a grocery store has to be one the trashy things a sane human can do. I worry about who touches my food in 4 star restaurants but at least I know they have to pass an inspection periodically. Do the food bars and back prep get inspected?

I once saw a little bugger eater in a cart seat sample the soup at Publix by sticking his fingers in it. Mom was clueless as she was busy trying to figure out how to put $10 worth of soup in a $5 sized cup.

Whole Foods Hot Bar is so good.

Kind of expensive, but you need to be strategic about what you get.

There are definitely better "deals", but you can get actual vegetables and stuff from the hot bar with good protein.

But you don’t see the usual suspects in there. It’s a pleasant experience.

This sounds like the start of an edgy folk song.
I could hear the bass and the drum beat while I read the words.
