Where's it at now, guys?

Been rocking the same Polo RL shirts for almost 10 years and I need a revamping. Are these still top notch for the price? Will be wearing often (weekends, sometimes to work, etc.). What other brands are good? Perlis, BB, LL Bean?

I need 2-3 decent pairs of shorts for the weekends.

Also some pants/button downs for work, less ironing the better.

JCrew and a few other speciality brands.

Nothing wrong with having a number of RL,BB or Lacrosse shirts in your closet. But way too dude just buy one specific brand and don't branch out from the norm.

I'm sure Chicken will let you borrow his International Male catalog. He's always raving about their collections.

All of my chinos are from J. Crew and I have no complaints over any of them.

My closet is still stocked with Ralph Lauren polos. I don't feel the need to switch from Ralph Lauren to any other brand in that department.

Most of my button downs are are from J. Crew and Ralph Lauren. I get J. Crew button downs because they have a large selection of slim fits and they look good over sport coats and dress coats.

For dress pants, honestly, just go to Macy's or something.

ETA: I do have a couple Vineyard Vines shirts, but nothing to the extent of Ralph Lauren or J. Crew.

If you want to look like a douche and spend lots of money, go to Brooks Brothers, Perlis, Carriages, ect.

If you want to look just as good at a far smaller hit to the wallet, go to Stein Mart & Marshall's.

Agreed J Crew slim fit buttondowns and dress shirts fit better than RL IMO.

I do like RLs short selection more.

How so?

Certainly no one here was the first person to wear a brand.

I picked up some Bobobos shorts a few weeks ago Perlis and they're comfortable.

I wear BB no-iron oxfords for the most part.

Most of my chinos are Lands End non-iron as well and I like those as well.

I have some lands end shorts too that have held up pretty well.
