More along the lines of no cash for the fix up. Banks wont loan on a property in poor condition. I have a line of credit at my credit union where I was able to buy the property and fix it up. It was on the market for over 7 months with 3 rescinded offers before I bought it. The house was on the market for a total of 4 days with multiple offers when I listed it.
I made what she couldn't. and I did a damn good job on it as I intended to live there but got a job offer in another state that June, so I had to sell.

Yes, I live in Livingston Parish. My neighbors fly American flags and LSU flags and Saints flags. No Confederate flags. But if they had one of those I wouldn’t come on a message board to criticize them for being a racist or a troll. Nor would I form any kind of judgment on them for flying it. Because it would be their business - and it would not concern me.

First, I just want to point out that I notice at times, when a guy poster has a discussion that involves a female poster, different assumptions are made.
For example "you really think a lot of yourself". I don't understand it, but whatever.
I've read through this thread and I do not think LL taken a "liberal" position.
Really, this isn't a typical bullshite thread from me. Her position has probably been the most reasonable.
She is basically saying, why do people let shite like this get them all worked up. Personally, I think it's funny because I just imagine someone reading these type of threads and getting all worked up and pissed off, but if we are being serious.. Really, why do people take this so serious? Not to mention, I am 98% sure the OP is trolling.

Considering the "Confederate Flag" you normally see flown now is a modern construct and not an accurate representation of any civil war flag (even the Navy Jack) that makes sense. The fact it is not a civil war flag flies in the face of the "I fly it for history" argument.

I don’t understand why people proudly fly the confederate flag. They lost the civil war. People who fly the flag are racists (I believe their main point of flying the flag is to display that) and losers.

Actually, I think it's ignorant to not be aware of reality. It has a different meaning to different people.
The fact is, it was the flag of the confederacy, which was in support of states rights, which the main topic being.. States having the right to decide whether or not slavery should be legal.
It has also become a flag adopted by white supremacist.
Either way, people can fly whatever flag they want, but they should at least be aware of stereotypes that are connected to it.
