I read your post and do understand how my words were construed.
I see it all the time in politics. Make a mash up of cherry picked statements and make it news. I see you did quote a few of my statements and attempted to make them seemn like one statement. I however did not mean for them to appear as such.

There are plenty of American flags and they outnumber Confederate flags by a wide margin. This guy has an agenda. He’s too ignorant to realize those flags came out in mass a couple years ago when his liberal overlords decided they should all be offended by statues, and started tearing them down.

I graduated the old Woodlawn High school.
Lived in Riveroaks, Millerville and finally White oak Landing before I moved out at 18.
I have lived in several apartments throughout Baton Rouge and now that I have children have made the decision to move to Watson because of the schools and have cut my drive time and frustrating drive by almost an hour.

Dude, look at the tone in your post. “YOU LITTLE BITCH!!” If someone else posted that to you, you’d be calling it a melt. As would I - it totally reads like a melt.

Yeah, funny thing about pride, the ones who have it, really shouldn't, and the one's who should, should do a better job of ostracizing those people.

Ex. Born agains aren't the best examples of "good Christians".

Trailer trash, bastard children, multiple exs, on government assistance, etc.....only diminish what they are "proud" of. I dont care if you are "white" trash, I want ALL trash dead....the world would be a better place for everyone left.

My point is why does anyone need to have a reason to fly a flag? It’s none of your business or my business or the OP’s business. Do you see how y’all sound? Do you really think that a person minding their own business, who chooses to fly a flag on their property needs to justify their reason to you???

Growing up in the 70’s near Lee High School, it was not uncommon to see black people wearing the confederate flag on t-shirts etc. In Destin, I had a rebel flag raft - anyone remeber those!?! I think the flag was seen as more of a Soutern Pride thing and then the KKK and the other bottom dwellers of soceity ruined it for everyone. In Charleston, two young black men started a company called Nu South LINK in 1993. The flag had become a symbol of “hate” to African Americans but they wanted to express their love for being Southern, so they remade the flag. I orginally saw the article on these guys in GQ in the 90’s. It is sad when ignorant people ruin something.

Where did I yell? I never used such a tone. Why are you lying LL?

I agree, his post do totally read like a melt. Little beta boy sees a flag and comes here to cry about it instead of walking up to the neighbor and talking about it.

Btw, you can search high and low across my properties and you won’t find a confederate flag.

I think you finally answered my post and made me realize what is really going on.
Poor, less traveled, never left their parish people often speak out the loudest in frustration and declair their devotion to this country, their preconceived and often taught notions about how things were and still should be.
Thank you for your post.

I’m with you, Kujo. The loudest of any group are always the most embarrassing to the group as a whole. For some reason, in recent years’ political climate, people have rushed to the defense of the vocal mongoloids regardless of which side we are talking about. And I honestly don’t get it.

Why wouldn’t you want to separate yourself from those people as much as possible? I know I do.

The thoughts on that flag are pretty complicated and deeply emotional. Only the most obtuse person wouldn't realize the statement it makes to black people. But some people are too self absorbed to consider other peoples feelings or they just take pleasure in alienating and stirring the pot.

I don't have a dog in the hunt, as all my people didn't immigrate her until well after all that was over. But if I was a black person and saw that, it'd be a message I wouldn't care for and something that would be difficult to let go..

Oh look, he finally found his echo chamber! How sweet! I would love to see you express the same sentiments to the “trash” you have now chosen to live amongst.

Because you’re one step closer to what OP is saying.. which is that many of the people flying it are flying it with the sole purpose of being a troll. Same reason my brother used to wear Florida gear. He has absolutely zero emotional or sentimental attachment to Florida. He won’t admit it but he likes the controversy.

What difference does it make anyway? -guess who
That's who you sound like.

Lol. I quoted your words exactly as you posted them. I'm not judging you, but don't try to claim you're just making an observation. Observations state only facts....there are lots of Confederate flags.... When you start expressing opinion as to why there are lots of Confederate flags...it's no longer an observation. It's some sort of conclusion, which is an opinion until proven true as a fact.

What’s a beta boy?

You see what I mean here? That tone is melt-ish. You sound like you’re blowing your lid.

Smoke that bowl and love everyone, friend.

Yes sir. No matter what you think your freedoms are, you are on purpose directly attempting to offend people who feel that they are marginalized.
I hate those kinds of words and terms but it is the truth.
Someone can not "GAF" about anyone's feelings, practice their freedoms and convictions.
At the core of it all they are really just trying to piss people off and flex their muscles in an area where they feel comfortable doing so without fear of retaliation.
