Read beta as biden male initially. Reads the same either way. Too bad this guy has already polluted the gene pool.

Article doesn't say where in Austin he lived. Was it in the city or the burbs such as round rock? I can see if he lived in the burbs thinking it was a conservative dystopia.

We feel very fortunate to be living in the Bay Area.

typical biden cultist obviously

Hopefully this article gets traction in California and less douche bags decide to move to Texas. I remember when kids where disciplined in school for not following instructions....guess they don’t do that in California.

My area Used to be a quiet area . It’s changed for the worse . Tons of new traffic and people are very aggressive . They are fish out of water here .

He said he lived in Bee Cave

The insufferable whining about high school football is amusing, and perhaps the best indicator that this douche-canoe did absolutely no research before moving to the People's Republic of Austin. Bee Caves is in the Lake Travis ISD, and Lake Travis High is a 6A powerhouse. So he moved to a competitive, affluent area where the parents go full travel ball vicariously living through their kids, and have junior playing club 7 v. 7 while working with a personal trainer and speed coach by kindergarten. Had he done his research, he and his snowflake family could be living the high life in Marble Falls or San Marvelous...

Bee cave is pretty damn nice . Beautiful views

How damn stupid do you have to be to not be able to avoid this mistake. Think about that for a moment. He is perfect for Cali!!

I live right outside of Bee Cave and we love it here. I also lived in the Bay Area for a while (originally from DFW). What we paid for our house out in the shitty east bay suburbs we were able to get a decent house with 8+ acres of land in one of the best school districts in the area.

Bee Cave is great, but Lakeway is better.

This is actually a pretty insightful comment he is making on Austin but doesn’t understand it.
Austin isn’t in the south. Doesn’t share any of the demographics that places east of Houston, really east of 45/288.
People move to Austin and Portland thinking it’s some liberal utopia but it’s educated white flight to Mayo town
It is great going to these places like Austin and Denver listening to people lecture and speak out on acceptance and diversity, and you’re walking around seeing carbon copies of the same basic white hipster everywhere. There is a serious lack of self awareness though
And I like both those cities overall, I just always find it ironic. I’ve only spent a little time in Portland and San Fran but imagine they’re even worse than those two

He should have moved to Baton Rouge for some diversity.

San Francisco seems just the opposite, apparently all of the gays, hipsters, hippies, etc., all over the country visualize what it must be like an SFO and try to out-SFO SFO

In fairness San Francisco seems legitimately diverse demographics wise from the time I’ve spent there so maybe that’s not fair. Denver Austin and Portland are not though

He bought a house twice the size of what he had and complains about price of electricity. He didn’t mention the price of the new 4000SF house or the price of what he had in San Diego.
Property taxes being .5% higher than Cali vs 13% state income tax. Genius.

I mean he’s got a good point. Who wants lower taxes and less regulation when you can have earthquakes and massive fires
