Sure I was 18 years younger, and had no responsibilities but it was just a better time back then.

I was in 8th grade when 2000 hit.

I was about 98% sure that Y2K was just a big conspiracy theory, but I'll admit I was kind of bracing myself when the ball dropped in Times Square.

I member being outside of Razoos when the ball dropped. Then going to the Shim Sham club and getting drunk as hell. Ended up buck naked with a Donald Duck hat on in the upstairs bar drinking Blue Ribbon beer.

My dad snuck down in our basement and cut the power when it hit midnight. Scared the shite out of us.

Same here. I was 27 bartending and bought my first home. No wife, no kids...not a care in the world.
