Same here. I hope he doesn't give you any of it and buys a giant mansion in a gated neighborhood 5 minutes from you.

And I hope he uses Amazon for everything he orders from Toilet Paper to G6's.

He's up well over 400% on his initial investment.

He puts $50 every paycheck into random cryptocurrencies.

I've never met a real person who has actually cashed out. I hear all the time about people cashing out on the internet, or 2nd hand. Until i meet a friend who has received money for his crypto currency, i am 100% skeptical.

This is play money for him so his risk is pretty much zero and I have to applaud him for at least diversifying the cryptos he's buying.

That's because we HODL the line. Why stop accumulating?

I've cashed out before, and it's pretty easy.

Alt coin-->bitcoin-->coinbase-->bank.

Still think he'd be better off putting the same into and ETF. Hell, putting that in SPY would be beneficial 10 years from now.

i helped him open both a roth and a regular investment account at scottrade but he's having too much damn fun with his 'get rich quick' schemes to deal with that stodgy old site.

i think he has the same feeling i had back in the 1990s when i was day-trading. it felt 'new' and 'the sky is the limit'.

Good for him. I put $50 from every paycheck into a bag of weed when I was in high school. Which led to $100 from every paycheck going into a bag of Doritos and Mountain Dew. Which led to a lot of laughs but no Lambos.

Just make sure he takes profits (enough to buy a 10 year old jeep or 4runner) before the entire crypto market bursts.
