Via the advocate:

Now, all those items are inside, along with the purple LSU pool table and the casket, which held Martin’s body for the wake before his cremation. It ended up back at the house because there was nowhere else to put it, Grass said.

Les Miles has lost control of Big Lee’s house!!!!!

Legit Info is that a Tulane Alum is planning on buying the house and demolishing it and brining Big Lee’s life collections. Travesty to have the Pickup painted in tulane Green if you ask me.

“priced to move at $349,000”

Questionable.

Funeral homes often rent caskets for open casket viewings before cremations, so I guess it’s not much different. Still kind of creepy though...

He wanted the framed Marilyn Monroe pictures and Nagel artwork so that people wouldn't assume he was one dimensional. It wasn't all about LSU football. He was also a 1950's film noir aficionado and Art Deco connoisseur.

Big Lee was so much more than tacky LSU gear. So much more.

From the article:

quote:

Lee is gone now. Let the man rest in peace.

BUT WHAT IF Big Lee is NOT gone? What if Big Lee doesn't WANT to rest in peace???

It also comes with a mountain of free LSU memorabilia for the buyer, several Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra posters, and some large photographs of President Donald Trump.

You live as long as the last person who remembers you.

HOw much cocaine do you think is stashed in that house. Wouldn’t mind taking in the open house to search a light fixture or two in the bathroom

Serious question, because I haven’t followed the story that much.
Why wasn’t he buried in the casket he bought?
Seems odd he owned a purple and gold casket, and didn’t end up in it.

They burned him. Don’t know why he bought the coffin.
