I’d say medium a-hole. The whole thing could have been avoided if instead of saying “please keep walking,” you said, “excuse me ma’am. May I get by?”

Hitting her with an excuse me would be way more reasonable

That said, at some point in the last 5 years people have started stopping within doorways and such at a maddening rate. It’s my current “get off my lawn” issue the last couple years.

Take a couple steps into a room or a step in and shuffle to the side- don’t stop 4 inches past the threshold and become totally oblivious to everything around you

You shouldn't make fun of the miss's in public bro.

Seriously not an a-hole
People that are inconsiderate they can die by fire.

Sure, I’m the a-hole. But, for fricks sake, dealing with that kind of a person day to day is what made me the a-hole I am.

You're an a-hole, but it's acceptable IMO because she was being the bigger a-hole by having absolutely zero social and spatial awareness and no courtesy for people around her. She is one of the worst kind of people these days.

And if people like her go unchecked they will only get worse. So sure, you're an a-hole, but good on you for calling her out and putting her in her place a bit. Maybe next time she will be more considerate to people around her in public.

She's an inconsiderate blimp. When people hold up others in public spaces because they can't wait 2 seconds to look at their phone they get no remorse from me.

That being said, I would've just said excuse me and went around her.

Nope, you did right.

It's well past time to bring "bullying" back.

Start calling idiots out on their bullsht, and when the push-back go fking HAM on them.

You've nothing to feel bad about.

Look up “mood elevator” lots of good literature on how to keep the right frame of mind….you control your world, make a conscious decision to proactively manage your mood.

Most people would have said excuse me instead of "Please keep walking!" You are an a-hole, but she's also an a-hole for being oblivious staring at her phone blocking the doorway, and then chasing after you cussing. arse to arse

you're not wrong for telling her to GTFO the way. but also, be patient next time and let her GTFO the way a few moments later.

You’re definitely correct for saying something however I would have just said “excuse me”. If she gets pissed at you for saying excuse me then that’s definitely on her. Please keep walking just sounds a rude.

Nobody would get mad at someone saying excuse me or something like “oops let me slip by you”
