I do that. My rational is they screw me enough at the cashier so if I am paying I am making their people work.

I feel the same way most posters here feel.
I once asked someone why they wouldn't return the cart to the return area 15 feet away and they explained they were on chemo and tire easily.
They said walking thru the store and loading the items into the car were taxing. And they were still faced with taking the items inside their house and storing them, especially refrigerated items.
This put their situation in perspective.
My first response was too short to fully explain the situation I encountered.

I don't understand why people make such a big deal out of a parking spot. You park, get out and go in the store, is it really that big of a deal to have to walk a little more?

My dog. He will jump up on the bed all day long. If I"m actually on it, forget it. He will wait there until I pick him up. Yes, I've waited him out, after a half hour he was still waiting.

Saw a guy push a buggy with his brand new truck so he could park in a close parking spot instead of getting out of his truck to move it like a normal person would. One of the workers from the grocery store apparently saw it happen and she came out to get the buggy.

People that pay $8-10 on automatic car washes when they can wash it for under $3 in the 5 stalls next to it. Heaven forbid you gotta step out of your car and hold a pressured hose for 5-8 minutes.

My old roommates girlfriend was a nurse at a hospital and New Orleans and she told a story i will never forget. She had a patient who was a big big lady and she was giving her a sponge bath and the patients daughter walked in and said "Momma, why are you making that poor white girl bathe you when you know you can get up and bathe yourself??"..roommates girlfriend said she through the sponge on the ground and walked out of the room.
She also said she had to pull shite out of peoples butts all the time which apparently is a common task for a nurse? I would throw up and quit right there.

I was jogging through a BREC park this spring & noticed a good 10 lbs of peeled crawfish trash thrown on the ground at the foot of a table/bench. Literally 5' away from 2 large, empty trash barrels.
