Who's unable to get one?

Not a doctor, but I think people with severe allergies and autoimmune disorders have problems with the vaccine. Also, COVID-19 seems to have a high rate asymptomatic spread. Translation: You could be a carrier and not even know you're sick.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the whole operating premise of vaccination programs is to provide immunity to the masses, in order to protect the relatively few who can't be vaccinated.

Wow! Amazing. You’ve literally created yet another strawman.

What you call a strawman (now I'm certain you don't know what that term means) is the only way what you're suggesting could happen. And it's impossible with the size of these trials. These factors you speak of would affect BOTH groups...so again, the only variable here is the vaccine, as such you can attribute any differences to the vaccine.

I cannot break it down any more for you. If you still don't get it you just are unable to grasp it.

Was I wrong? Is the Rona coming for me? Help me my brothers. I get a second chance next week.

You made a great decision. The rona is not bad. AMA now says if you get HCQ early, it will help a person overcome the rona. If you get Rona find a good doc that will prescribe HCQ.
They suggest people with weak immune systems avoid getting the vaccine. Aren't these people the most susceptible of dying from Rona, the flu or pneumonia? It seems to me that the ones who need the vaccine the most are the ones being told not to take it. This allows vaccine companies to claim how effective their vaccine is.
People I know that got rona and also got HCQ recovered with no problems, even the high risk patients.

I, unfortunately, know data can be manipulated to get the needed end result.

It can. But it's also the job of people much smarter than us to sniff it out. For every drug that gets approved by the FDA, dozens fail for any number of reasons.

I was part of the agency team that launched Trintellix...you want crazy data...look at mental health trials where levels of "sick" are completely subjective (as opposed to rona or cancer where either you have it or you don't)...the placebo effects are really high because their depression improves simply because they have a study physician regularly checking in with them to see how they're feeling. But obviously the tabulation and review takes that into account.

It seems you don't even understand what vaccines are for.

Again, :kige: (I wish this still worked)

It used to be much better, but the increased number of boards here and additional ways to communicate on the interwebs seems to have significantly eroded the quality of posters.

Yes - mental help is a gamble to treat in general - the test studies are no fun either

I totally understand the need for vaccines (Hpv,mmr, TDAP,etc).

But not for the flu and not for people not at risk.

Is the annual flu shot a vaccine or the best estimate of MDs predicting the prevalent flu strains forecasted for the upcoming flu season?

This board two months ago: Trump is crushing it with Operation Warp Speed! Suck it libs!

This board now: This vaccine is rushed and will cause autism, gayness, and Bells Pallsy

I for one find it hilarious how the vaccine went from being called the Trump vaccine to the Biden vaccine, simply from the results of the election.

I find this funny too. Maybe if they call it the MAGA vaccine, Trumpsters would take it - and they could call it something else for the lefties

Where are you getting that? I know it as the Pfizer vaccine, the Moderna vaccine, the AstraZeneca vaccine, and there are a few others coming up, J&J being one I can think of.

Altimmune
Or
Gilead
Or
GlaxoSmithKline
Or

Or
Inovio Pharmaceuticals
Or
Moderna
Or
Johnson&Johnson
Or
Novavax
Or
Regeneron Pharmaceutical
Or
Roche
Or
Sanofi
Or
Takeda Pharmaceutical
Or
Vaxart
Or
Vir Biotechnology

vaccines when they come out.

Because the survival rate of folks who take the vaccine is A LOT better than that of those who get the virus...

At the most there could be 9 months of data on this. Can we see the liver and kidney data?

quote:

Do you also have that attitude with the Flu shot?...

Have never, will never get. And I’m not an anti-vaccine person.

quote:

Polio vaccine says hello...

I think most people are ignorant to the faulty polio vaccine that was developed in NOLA and the cancer epidemic that followed.

The vaccine causes infertility..

No study or research has been done on this. So this is impossible to say one way or the other. That said, if a woman wants to get pregnant, abstaining from getting the vaccine is neither going to make her more nor less likely to conceive.
