Props to you - seriously. You hang in there. My mother-in-law needs to go, but I don't have the balls to send her. Whatever his reason, your Dad just doesn't want to( or can't see her problem. He will be better off in the long run. Godspeed.

I went for psych when my counselor recommended it. I signed myself out after three days but went to iop. The meds really helped with the psychosis

As a matter of fact, I was talking to my oldest (half) sister about it and she said she knew it was gonna be hard for our sister that's taking her because she (oldest sister) had to take her mom for a crack addiction a few years ago
Actually our youngest sister (the ghetto one, who's taking our step mom) once went with her friend to sell crack to some lady and was looking at pics on the wall and saw our oldest sister and asked the lady how she knew her. It was our oldest sister's mom. I hope that made sense
