I had a physical altercation with her once taking her keys because she was drunk on listerine. And I had to pick her up from my sister's hoco because she was embarrassing her so bad

Found like 7 empty bottles in her car. The brown kind

If polar pop offers referral incentives let me know, I have some family members that would qualify and help lower your step moms bill

Aww thank you, nurse. I made a big deal to my step mom how she's doing what's best for her and my dad

But it's not a "when it rains it pours" situation. This has been going on awhile. And it's a blessing that this time I had the nerve to take control

Unless they are a danger, they don't have to stay. They can leave whenever they want

Talking about your stepmother's issues on here: trashy.

Mainly just meant that you've had a lot of heavy stuff on your plate lately. I mean...there really is no good time to have to send family to the psych unit, but it has to be even more stressful when you have other major stressors going on in your life.

Unless she volunteers for admission, you can only get in on a PEC, CEC., or OPC. And on those they are taken in by the law or ambulance. She agreed to go on her own?

I was so doped up I'd be passing out in the chair during visitation. My friends and family were like are you sure you're getting better here

I understand Paige. Been in one for 28 days nearly 22 years ago.

The right meds can do wonders. It usually takes more time than what is given in a hospital setting. For me, I needed nearly 6 months to alleviate my symptoms. The right doctor is also a plus.
