I never ever preheat the oven. I just add 10 minutes to the cook time

I've found these actually come out MUCH better if you put them in the oven BEFORE pre-heating.

The pre-heating period gives them time to thaw some, so they tend to rise up much better during the actual bake.

You just have to keep an eye on them and not rely so much on a set cooking time.
