My step brother used to be the game warden in whatever county Laredo is in and he said he used to get calls all the time about people finding immigrants in their deer stands and what not.

And when I say that, they weren't always alive. He said on multiple occasions there would just be dead bodies in the stands. He always said there was no telling how often people just killed them and wouldn't report it, clearly.

Stepdads family has about 7000 acres south of Cotulla. He tells a story about when he was at the camp alone for a hunt, he hears about 4-5 different Spanish speaking voices right outside the door one night. He freaks out, grabs his rifle and immediately starts talking loudly in 3-4 different voices to scare them off.

He didn't get much sleep that night and when the sun rose, nobody was there but he found a bunch of tracks around the camp. Locked the place up and hightailed it out of there that morning.
