Statistically youre better off without the vaccine

You idiot, there would be a lot more cases if people didn't have vaccines. In 1952 "Of the 57,628 cases reported that year 3,145 died and 21,269 were left with mild to disabling paralysis." but vaccines are bad. You also forgot something

quote:

The 175 diagnosed wild polio virus (WPV) cases worldwide in 2019 represented the highest number of cases since 2014, but still a 76% reduction from the 719 diagnosed cases in 2000 and a 99.95% reduction from the estimated 350,000 cases when the eradication effort began in 1988.

You should do more research because vaccines work.

Statistically youre better off without the vaccine

The More You Know
A horrible misunderstanding and/or misinterpretation of statistics.

When we are close to eradicating a disease, of course the extremely rare vaccine-derived illnesses will outnumber the "wild" cases. The correct interpretation of the statistics is in 1988, 350,000 people worldwide contracted polio, or 1 in 15,000 of the global population. This year fewer than 1,000 will contract polio, or less than 1 in 7 million. Statistically we are about 500 times better off with the vaccine.

Transmission has been greatly reduced strictly because we are no longer dumping septic waste into bodies of water that people swim in
But mostly, you know, because of the vaccine.

So I imagine the 500 people that caught polio via the vaccine in the past two years might vehemently disagree with you
And they might be as dumb as you are. It is not the people being vaccinated who are contracting the vaccine-derived polio, but the unvaccinated people in their communities.

Know what's worse than having a kid with autism?

Having a kid with autism AND smallpox.

Eta. To clarify, this is NOT a knock or joke on anyone who has a child with autism.

Pretty straightforward - a shockingly large amount of Americans are dumb as hell and find conspiracy in essentially any government/publicly accepted policy.

They believe if they don't exercise their freedom to resist something as straightforward as a vaccine, they're basically conceding their freedoms forever and only a stone's throw away from letting the government frick their wives.

They are giving babies like 76 different vaccines now, compared to something like 10 in the 1980's. Of course there will be side effects like autism or worse.

I hope you’re joking but there are a lot of people in America who believe this. I‘ll catch hell for this here but there should probably be a list of diseases such as polio, smallpox, measles, etc that are mandatory to get vaccinated for as a US citizen. We can’t risk deadly diseases making a comeback because of insane Facebook parents. There’s tons and tons of studies and medical papers plus real history saying vaccines are effective and don’t give people autism. People who ignore the facts are too dumb for their own good and the rest of us shouldn’t be put in danger because of those people.

Hey Op. when you were a child the vaccines consisted of only a few viruses. You have any idea how many shots and viruses are given to children nowadays?

Ok boomer.

Maybe it's time for you to double down on the Zocor.

Most people born in after the Reagan administration don't believe in that better life through chemistry that big pharma sold you gullible losers on back in the 50's.

Ate you attempting to say that vaccines over the last 50, years or so, are more harmful than good?

Give me a minute to put my hat on before you answer.

Funny that you'll truly never know how many people the vaccine has saved. It's called the greater good you short sided tin foil hat.
