Figured I do use them a lot and for a long time now. Maybe not 100% accurate but a good resource and endlessly entertaining.
It’s the greatest rabbit hole site of all time.
I remember several years ago looking up something about Disney World and an hour later I was reading about Hitler’s bunker. I remember thinking to myself, “How in the hell did I wind up here.”
Like a PBS station they are having their donation drive.

Nothing better than starting your night on the Georgia-Auburn Football Rivalry page only to find yourself reading about Issac Newton and his alleged homosexuality.

Kind of like reading an encyclopedia from the 1960’s.

Maybe one day man will walk on the moon.

There are nine planets.

That's funny. I have donated every year since about 2013, but this is the first year I won't be doing so. The site's got some real management/bias issues IMO and I'd like to see that cleared up before I continue giving them my money.

No on both counts.

Wikipedia begs for money more often than your standard PBS station. Unlike your local PBS station they're flush with cash.

Wikipedia... where you start the night looking up the Saints record for 1985 and end up learning that 30,000 civilians were tactically eaten during the Battle of Suiyang.
