You know it doesn’t cost anything to add things there that aren’t true, right?

The founder was on some podcast a while back saying how biased and full of censorship the site is now.

I heard the second half of an interview with one of the founders of Snopes.com not too long ago, and I was floored when the NPR chick said who she was at the end. She talked more like a butthurt socialist college professor than like someone running a fact-checking website.

"Fact" basically equals "leftist dogma" for a huge part of the educated classes now.

Plenty of topics are locked and you have to be an admin to change them.

Also if you want to go to the sources that are cited for a better idea of where the info came from or how the topic is written it is available.

I donated last year. All these OT ballers on here but don’t ask them for $5 for Wikipedia or to pay a camera speeding ticket. I’m beginning to think it’s nothing but poor people that post in here.

There's other "wikipedia" sites. You don't need a "right winger" Wikipedia. You need a site dedicated to facts and objective interpretations of life events, controversies, without massive political bias, etc.

Wikipedia is run by left wing activists just like politifact checks "facts" with a major leftist slant.

I've donated in the past. Most people would be surprised to know how much money they're sitting on. They are not in any danger of falling short of funds as their pleas for donations would suggest.

Wikipedia has plenty of money. Why are they begging for donations?

Imagine sending General Milley's woke army against folks with this resolve-

quote:

Yin Ziqi had besieged the city for a long time. The food in the city had run out. The dwellers traded their children to eat and cooked bodies of the dead. Fears were spread and worse situations were expected. At this time, Zhang Xun took his concubine out and killed her in front of his soldiers in order to feed them. He said, "You have been working hard at protecting this city for the country wholeheartedly. Your loyalty is uncompromised despite the long-lasting hunger. Since I can't cut out my own flesh to feed you, how can I keep this woman and just ignore the dangerous situation?" All the soldiers cried, and they did not want to eat. Zhang Xun ordered them to eat the flesh. Afterwards, they caught the women in the city. After the women were run out, they turned to old and young males. 20,000 to 30,000 people were eaten. People always remained loyal.

I used to enjoy reading encyclopedias when I was young. The links in each article will lead you on and on. Wiki is great.
