Any of you baws from JT remember Charlie (I think that was his name)? He was an LSU sports nut that rode his bike around all of the time and wasn't all there? I wonder what happened to him.

Yes indeed. Chevette. And it was Jennifer Gendron who ran smack into me in front of the KFC on Jones Creek.

Ohhh that little blonde was so good at doing what I told her.

I'm going dig up your picture from the yearbook today.

And I know how that legacy shite goes. My oldest bro was a good high jumper. Coach McCall tried like hell to teach me to high jump.

Yes! Had one of those sirens with microphones on his bike and would repeat the bus numbers.

I vaguely remember Charlie. I lived in JT from 76 - 89.

Anyone at JT remember a blonde headed girl would have been in third or fourth grade in 88-89 named Ansley? Ring a bell at all?

Who remembers when it would rain and they'd let us have "blacktop recess" and you could only hangout on the blacktop? That was the worst.

I usually see and greet Charlie once or twice a week. He is still riding his bike . They have put a concrete path in the park so he’s ripping that up every day . I usually greet him with a “ Go Tigers”. In the Summer he practically lives at the pool and knows everybody and the kids like him .

I remember as a kid going to JT, seeing Charlie give radio calls of LSU football with his little megaphone. That guy is a true legend. Everyone in JT knew of Charlie.
