We had one in Huntsville, Alabama until a couple years ago. It was on the South Parkway near Home Depot. Used to get coupons for buy 1 buffet, get one 1/2 off...we'd get a group of guys from Payload Ops and split the cost. It was NICE!

Then rumor has it that Popeyes told the owner he had to stop offering the buffet so he shut down. Recently it's been re-opened as Sweet P's. Different menu slightly...but chicken and onion rings still use the same recipe it seems...

They have the buffet back to I believe.

I remember they used to have blueberry glazed biscuits and honey bbq wings on the buffet. It was amazing.

I haven't been in years but I'd definitely go if they brought those back.

Try Sweet P's. I don't know if they have the seafood/shrimp stuff like Popeyes does...but I didn't like Popeye's fries...Sweet P's fries are better IMHO. I swear the chicken and onion rings are spot on like Popeyes.

Because you think you can eat your money's worth, but before you get that far in....you have to go home and shite. Too much grease in Popeyes to eat more than 3-4 pieces and not have to shite, and who the hell wants to shite in a Popeyes bathroom. It's sort of a gotcha.

Dude...the guy who went back 5-6 times to the buffet in Huntsville was the skinniest among us. He was a freaking marathon runner. True he stayed on the chicken and other proteins...but the dude could put down some of the banana pudding. I only went back 1 time after the initial service...most of the time I was watching this guy eat, wondering where in the hell was he putting it all at.
