Seriously? That's great. I'm a fan of what those dudes are doing. They built a big building behind the one on Coursey for in-house spice manufacturing. Not sure how that portion is doing but the restaurant is crushing it - probably solely off Chimes spillover.
They also don't take any shite. Few years ago there was a woman making a scene on a Facebook vid, talking about how she wanted to speak with the manager. The guy comes out and says something along the lines of "you already ate half of it. I'm not taking it off the bill or anything else you're talking about."
They'll do well at that Sammy's spot. You want that 2000's Sammy's vibe? These dudes can bring it.

In the early 2000s it seemed like it was packed anytime of day. I used to go from time to time to get boiled crawfish. I like how they boiled them then... I guess whoever boiled them left and was replaced because there was a drop in taste quality.
And they are not closing, just moving to a new location right? Because their lease is up and the owners of the building wanted to go in a different direction.

Their crawfish are consistent. I’ve had a few hit or miss entrees but overall it’s not bad

I quit going after they put only 8 shrimp on a large shrimp po'boy. When I asked about it, they said that's all they ever put.
