Real life this time and the South African pilot flying a small commercial route with 4 passengers kept his cool when he realized that a highly venomous Cape Cobra was in the plane next to him.
quote:

“I usually travel with a water bottle that I lodge between my leg and my hip towards the side wall of the aircraft. When I felt this cold sensation where my love handles are, I thought my bottle was dripping,” Erasmus said.

“As I turned to my left and looked down, I saw the cobra putting its head back underneath my seat.

“I had a moment of stunned silence, not sure if I should tell the passengers because I didn't want to cause a panic. But obviously they needed to know at some point what was going on,” he said.

“I just said, 'listen, there's a problem. The snake is inside the aircraft. I've got a feeling it's under my seat so we are going to have to get the plane on the ground as soon as possible.”

The ground crew had seen the cobra near the plane when they were prepping it but figured wrongly that it had slithered off somewhere.

The pilot got the plane down safely and no one is sure what happened to the snake as engineers couldn't find it when they were going through the plane.

Great job by the pilot for landing the plane safely. I would have shite myself if I knew that a cobra was under my seat.

The cobra would have quickly left from underneath my seat to avoid the sudden urine downpour.

Since they could not find it onboard after landing, is it possible it fell out of the aircraft when the retractable landing gear on this plane was deployed?

Man, I’d be having a serious discussion with that ground crew.
