It happens mostly in the shower. Taking a shower and all of a sudden I feel like I have no energy.

Irrelevant. I know it's hard to keep up with the CDC because it changes daily, but now, the vax only "reduces the severity"

according to the OT you should just go ahead and end it. you know, because you didn’t get the vaccine :-(

Sleep.

When I had COVID, that fatigue was the worst. Just sleep when it hits. The fatigue is your body fighting it. I don't usually nap or sleep at all during the day, but I would pass out for hours at a time.

Underrated strategy tbh.

I was sick last week (not COVID) and I got out and did yardwork for about 2 hours. Came in, took a shower, and immediately felt much better.

Lie down in bed and take a nap. Seriously. Let your body recover. When I had it, I slept probably 15-18 hours a day for two to three days. Take that time to chill out and just rest. You need it and it will help you out mentally too

It is relevant to me because if he did not get the shot then I don't want to hear him whining about getting covid.

Stop. It doesn’t “only” reduce the severity. It does reduce the severity. But it also protects you from contracting it.

But you’re right, whether he got the vaccine is irrelevant. He’s got covid. It sucks.

The funny part is the shot gives you the same mild symptoms the OP is describing
