Make sure to tell them to put away their own money when they can and don't tell ANYONE how much they have. I have seen some crazy divorce behavior which frequently includes trying to bury a spouse who has less money.

Everything in life has seemingly gotten out of control in this way. We have kids committing to 7U baseball teams, pictures and signs for a first day of school, then the same thing for a last day of school, kindergarten graduations, etc.
