I'm not mad at them anymore. I let my son and his friends shoot them cause they are still delicious.

I don't mind (at all) hunting, and nature shows don't bother me, but anytime someone hurts an animal out of cruelty it pisses me off.

I’m good with killing pests or invasive species. They deserve to be removed. Other than that, I don’t think humans should kill animals unless it’s for food purposes.

They're foul creatures. I'm ok adding them to the execution list. Used to have a ton of them when i lived in Cottage Grove by Buffalo Bayou. That is until the coons came in and took over.

Do some research on the opossum. They are not as bad in nature as you would think.

They do place undue pressure on some bird species in the wild if they overpopulate (they attack the nest eggs for food) but other than that they aren't too bad if their population is in balance.

They are a little ugly though.

Animals don’t bother me unless it’s people intentionally hurting them for entertainment or just to be cruel. Those cartel videos are a sobering reminder of how depraved people can and will act if given the opportunity.

If it serves no useful purpose, I agree. Like when someone kills an animal for no other purpose than the so-called “fun” of killing an animal. I find that reprehensible.

However, if it is in the course of natural predation or for human consumption, it doesn’t bother me. I don’t relish, celebrate, or find any enjoyment from it either. It’s simply the circle of life.

Moved ours outside about 6 months ago. They enjoyed being outside more than in. They have already killed 2 snakes that got into our back yard

When it comes to game animals, yep, I'm not as mad at them as I once was.

Nothing wrong with that. Nothing haunts me more than when I put a bad shot on something and it takes longer to die than it should have.

Same for me. I grew up deer hunting, but last time I shot a deer was 10 or so years ago and I cried like a little bitch. Just seemed so pointless. Not sure what changed in me.

I got kicked out of a hunting club for not shooting a dog that was running deer from some other club down the road. Sorry, can’t shoot a dog. I guess I wasn’t kicked out, but I wasn’t asked to join again the next season.

There's quite a few folks out there who shoot hogs or coyotes in the guts for shits and giggles
