My dog is quiet, doesn’t bark, listens to me, doesn’t jump on people, doesn’t care to snuggle, and loves to go on long walks with me. He doesn’t stink, breath is good, doesn’t have slobber mouth, doesn’t have accidents in the house, comes to tell me when he wants out. I don’t even need a leash on walks. I often wonder where he is in the house sometimes. He is a Husky/GSD mix and is nearly a perfect dog.

My family's current dog is a female pitbull named Stinkface. That dog is gonna smell like a dog, even after a bath.
She rarely barks unless there are visible creatures wandering around outside. She tore up the yard when she was a puppy but that's finally under control. I believe she would murder you then eat your liver if you come in my house uninvited. She swaps nights and sleeps quietly at the foot of each of the beds in rotation.
All pets are not for everyone, but we will always have a good dog. OP should look into fish or hamsters.
