Don’t go. Kids won’t turn out as junkies if you don’t go to Disney Workd.

They’re pretty up front with what you get. Not sure how that’s bilking someone.
How many times have you been?

My wife and I want to do that. Come at me
I’d love to go to Epcot during food and wine festival and drink and shop around the world. We went with the kids during it and most people there were adults

Yeah, teach them to be cynical and miserable like a lot of posters in this thread.

a good rule of thumb is that anyplace where missionaries frequently go on missions is probably not a good vacation destination, I'm not cynical or miserable, and i've been to Jamaica a lot

My best Disney trip was with no kids. Me and the wife stayed at Beach Club. Which is adjacent to the beach entrance of Epcot. We did two days of food and wine and took the skyway to Hollywood for Star Wars Cantina. Really just ate and drank. Had a great time. But that hotel was very expensive. With the kids we often rented a house or stayed in a Moderate. Deluxe are very high. But the location of Beach Club was great.

Being outside anywhere in the sun can lead to this. Never heard of sunburn lotion?

They are $6.49 plus tax. You are not required to buy them.

expensive as F*uck for the week
Sounds like you don’t know how to budget and are bad at math.

hate crowds so why go
Then why the frick would you go to any theme park during the summer?

They say this is the happiest place on Earth…my asss…f*uckin stupid. Am i missing any other reasons?
Probably would be better without you there.

Your first mistake is going in the summer or on a holiday , that’s a rookie move.. id rather take the kids out of school and go on a random week, much easier for them to make up the schoolwork than it is to deal with the mass of trashy humanity at Disney during summers and holidays .. I haven’t been in years, but I’ve had friends use that strategy with their families and it’s actually worked out well .
October is the best month to go. It’s cooled down some, prices are generally lower, and it’s South American spring break so you get all the hot South American women down there and the SA families that come in are immensely more friendly and considerate than everyone else who shows up.

So don’t go?
You choose to go during the hottest, most crowded, most expensive time of year? Your fault.

Going to Disney is like going to a golf tournament
Non stop walking
Trashy people
Hot

This board is filled with a bunch of 45+ year olds that are overweight, wear fishing shirts to weddings, and hate the idea of leaving their house.

Went in nov couple years ago
Was cool that day
First ride was splash mountain and I was in the front.
Got wet asF and was miserable rest day.
Just another reason I hate the place.
But my kids loved it …. So you do what dads do and suck it up.

Live 2 hours away and used to be an annual past holder. It changed from being an experience to lets pack as many people in this place as possible fuk their experience. I now say fuk their woke arse agenda and their overcrowded, overpriced, sweat box theme parks.
