The Auschwitz sign is in poor taste but people are reaching their limits with all of the shutdowns.

Hopefully the proponents of that sign don't want work to set people free in quite the same way that the people who put it up at Auschwitz did.

I don't get it. So we aren't supposed to ever talk about this stuff again?
My opinion is they are mad because of overreaching politicians. The slogan is, work will set you free. Basically alluding to your leaders telling you to do something , in this case not work, and everything will be back to normal.
If you want to get mad. How about threatening to arrest Jews in New York, you know, for their safety.
So I don't see a problem pointing to history and saying, this is why we shouldn't take it. It could get to this and has before.
