In restaurant business, the host is supposed to make exceptions to the rotation if the customer requests to sit in a specific spot. Especially if it’s not busy, no reason it should’ve been a problem. If no server was working that section, that’s different.

You’re coming off as a little self-important.
Going to a family restaurant and expecting quiet is kind of silly.
And maybe if you had explained what you needed as opposed to telling “server girl” what you weren’t going to do, maybe they would have tried to accommodate you.

IF i go to a chicken wing place that serves beer, I’m drinking beer and dgaf if you have to “work”. It’s not a library, it’s a bar:restaurant with 20 TVs and nobody needs to cater to your demands
