Are you stupid? I said that he tweeted quotes by someone else that was about him. Is that not true?

A simulation because of how sad and pathetic it is to be able to say the briefings attracted roughly the viewership of the fricking bachelor? The fact that almost 9 million tune into a fake arse petty drama show is what should make it seem like a simulation.

Once they saw that a lot of people were watching and that trump's approval ratings on cv19 were increasing, they decided they needed to restrict coverage of it.
This is actually true and they have been writing articles about how they should stop showing his briefings because his approval ratings are going up.

Scruffy doesn’t watch his briefings, but clearly a large number of people want to and cutting him off because his approval ratings are going up is extremely petty.

People find his briefings informative and they give people hope.

Why cut the briefings off?

He does that on a daily basis.

How you people haven't gotten used to his conduct is beyond me. It's been this way since june of 2015 when he came down the escalator.

I don't understand why you don't just ignore it if it bothers you so much. Nobody forces you to read his tweets or listen to him.

I couldn't stand obama, so I never watched his briefings or SOTUs.

We know what we have in Trump at this point.

His #1 goal in life and the entirety of his ethos is whatever brings glory to Trump.

The upside to that is that as the country goes, Trump goes, so Trump has an inherent, deeply-vain interest in seeing the country succeed.

In short, he's not a great person, he's probably not even a very good President, but he's good enough. He's also better than his opponents, who are also narcissists but who judge success/failure by how hard they can hate themselves, America and how much they can apologize for everything this country has accomplished to date.

Bruh, I don't give a frick what he tweets. It doesn't bother me. I don't follow him so just because I don't like to have my world surrounded by politics.

I just like to see people defend him.

I am forced to defend him a lot because there are so many posters from Nola or NBR who come onto TD and post lies about trump and his admin that they heard at church on Sunday or at their union hall or something.

Trump does a lot of shitty stuff, but he also has a lot of false things said about him as well.

There you go poo bear......you and the libtard go melt about this. And Trump also ordered a travel ban in mid January. Thank YOUR people for throwing a fit calling trump racist and a dictator. If it was only his call he’d stopped everyone outside the borders infected by it from coming into the country FACT.

I agree but I don’t know if he uses the same criteria to measure success for the country as the average person.

I RA'd. Keep your political shite to the political board. Some of us like to use this to get away from politics.

He bases his views on re-election and public support, so unless you believe that the public doesn’t measure success correctly, then you would have a point.

Absolutely and this virus has turned into his reelection campaign. I am ok with it too and I hope it works. Trump needs a second term.

Unless you want to claim a deeper understanding of his mental process than I or any average American have access to that would be your opinion of his views and not a fact.

I’m not sure if you are wrong but I’m also not going to try some rhetorical internet message board shite argument with you.

I’m a President Trump supporter, but this is a tone deaf series of tweets by him. I guess it’s good that people are trying to be informed (and maybe that’s his point?), but this series of tweets makes him look like he is treating his briefings like a reality show.

I think you might be missing the point

Many networks have begun to cut away from the press briefings

Trump is quoting someone who is arguing that the high ratings and trump’s improved image are the reasons why networks are cutting away. They don’t want to assist in him winning over Americans
