You are wrong. Mercedes L3 has only been approved in Nevada and is not available in any MY23 US cars. Mercedes currently doesn’t know or have a date for when it will be available. Tesla is the best you can get in the USA and it’s not even close.

As of this month mercedes has said they expect the L3 to be available this year in the US. It's been available in germany for over 6 months.
Also while the latest iteration may still be superior, blue cruise from ford and super cruise from GM isn't really that far behind.
Tesla used to be the only game in town regarding "self-driving" tech. Like it was your sole option for a few years. Not so anymore.

Tesla will be surpassed, their hardware choices guarantee it. But at the moment it’s them and then everyone else below. FSD beta kills everything else available today in capabilities.

bought a plane ticket a few days ago for $408. Less than 5 hours later I got a notification that it had reduced to $357. That's free market, folks.
Southwest refunds you that difference, not that anyone is super jazzed about flying SW right now.

Yeah and teslas have been absolutely cratering in value, even compared to luxury brands, and an auto manufacturers best asset, it's repeat customer, will not forget this happening.

A likely liberal complaining about Wild pricing swings due to government subsidies. Hopefully a lesson learned about government meddling in markets.

Lol I'm not mad. Teslas are pieces of crap and this price decrease is proving my point, this is an awful look for tesla.

Tesla has broken sales records this year, delivering over 1 million vehicles. Year over year and quarter over quarter increases.
shite on them if you don't like them, but they are still the boss and lowering prices is not going to make people stop buying them.

Their market share is being cut into by the other manufacturers evs debuting and it will only get worse.

Tesla will lose market share and sales will also increase at the same time.

Well there is your mistake. You are assuming Tesla is a traditional car brand when it is actually more akin to a High Def television in 2005.
Like Tesla, they were new technology entering a saturated, mature, existing market. The new tech did not have a lot of infrastructure (charging stations/programming) to support the technology, but it was growing exponentially. If you had waited until say 2008, that same HD television was half the cost...or the same money got you a larger, more advanced HD television. And a LOT more programming, and hopefully for Tesla owners, additional charging stations/options.
For another analogy, see cell phones vs pagers circa 1990.
