Stowe VT to downtown Chicago, napped then Chicago to Colorado Springs. Made it in less than 48 hours. I had a passenger but I drove every mile.
AAA Trip Tick was my Google Maps.

I’ve done BR to the various ski towns near Denver. Drive there isn’t too bad. The drive home is something I could never do again.

When I was in HS on vacation with the family, I drove us home in one day, Albuquerque to Memphis. Once I got on the interstate that morning, I made a total of two turns to get back to our neighborhood.
We had a few breaks, but the day for me was about 9a-12a.

Jonesboro, AR to Los Angeles, in about 27 hours. Just shy of 1,800 miles on I40 West. Long arse drive with a lot of flat land.

I just don't like driving more than 10-12 hours. Really more than 8 if it's just me and not the whole family. Otherwise I'm paying for a flight.

exactly, or if it's anywhere in the SE, and a rental car would be a hassle or too much, break up the drive with a night a hotel.
