You must have a magic touch... I've hit 7 and they keep calling. I've started reporting every single one of them to the do not call registry. I've had it slow down from 5 per day to 2 since I started reporting them.

I use an app that autoblocks numbers that have been reported to the app as spammers. The spammers still have been leaving a blank 2 second voicemail though. I get the scam calls regularly. Mildly infuriating, but I don't see what else to do.

Laws don't have anything to do with it I think. They are scammers. It isn't like they care about breaking the law anyway. I think you just started getting unlucky. This has been a problem for me at least the last year. It comes in waves. Sometimes it isn't so bad and I won't get a call for several days. But others I will get several a day.
You definitely just need to download one of those robocall blocker apps.

The one from Jamaica is a different scam. That's the shits calling to say you won $3M and a BMW 760I - all you have to do is go to WalMart and buy some kinda $300 card to defray costs of them coming personally to give you the prize. Last one I talked to finally gave up, told me to go frick myself and then hung up on me.

I get them too, got an email today as well.
I did get an ATL number call me a couple of hours ago. ask if the head of household was around, I said no. She said she didn't have a message and will try again later and hung up.

Holy shite, in the last 2 weeks it started for me. I get at least two calls a day, all from different states. It used to be Heather, now it is just silence when I pick up. I wanted to go through it to get to a real person so I could threaten their family, but I don't even have the chance now. fricking terrorists.

Blocking all the #s doesn't help at all either. I've got several hundred blocked and still get them daily spam calls.
