I dont understand the OTs hatred for pitbulls

Its pretty fricken ignorant and stupid. I've never met an aggressive pitbull before and I have several friends and family members who have them as family pets.
Most of the OTs hatred of them is so they can appear to be "cool" with the others.
What it comes down to is how the owners train these beautiful dogs but hey I'm sure you guys are all armchair experts on that too

My grandmother's neighbor had two. They were the sweetest things and would not hurt anyone. One day, they decided to attack her (the owner). There was no known cause or reason other than something set them off and they attacked their owner. It's the 1% of time when they snap that makes them so dangerous. Some people let their guards down for the 99% of time that they are sweet dogs.

Agree. I live in NOLA and know dozens of pit bulls and pit bull mutts, and they're all teddy bears.
If I had to guess, I'd say the OT's antipathy springs from the general TD hostility toward all things Urban.
