These advocates for this ridiculous business are crazy and so are all of the objects/subjects of their derangement.

I try to call people what they want to be called, since it’s the polite thing. But, it is hard to keep up with the ever-changing terminology and some people just want to be outraged. To me, it’s usually just best to not try and call them anything, except the ones i’m close to and in that case they know i mean well. If people are LGBTQ or whatever and it’s not hurting anyone, live and let live.

As a member of said community, I’m also not interested in a discussion about who I’m attracted to, though I do expect my husband to be spoken about or acknowledged just like any other spouse in conversation.

What happened to just acting like a normal person? Gay, straight, queer, black, white whatever you are, just act like a decent human being and contribute to society and not have to put a label on everybody. Labeling people and races is what’s dividing this country. Let’s just be people.

Don’t walk around like this and expect to be treated like a normal person

Well I'd imagine it is difficult for any sane person to understand the logic of mentally ill people.

No one does. It's untreated mental illness.

I am not hateful or scared of gay people. Have had and still have friends and colleagues who are gay and have zero problem accepting that. I don’t like seeing two guys kissing, but whatever. I’ve also opened my mind towards the gay marriage thing.

But one thing I refuse to accept as a “norm” is trans. That is not normal behavior. It’s a response to mental illness, plain and simple. I look at somebody who does that to themselves as a fricking joke. It’s weird to me, as I feel it should be.

I don’t get what the Q stands for? Isn’t that the same thing as G and L or did they make up something new?

Same here. I’ve met people through my work that are gay or of same sex marriage that I have built relationships and friendships with. Even if it wasn’t work related, I’d still be friends with those people because all around they are genuine good people. I wasn’t raised to hate people because of their race or sexuality but rather their character. I was raised to like people for who they are

I think it means queer. Don't quote me on this, but I think its like the N word for blacks. But I don't know the difference between gay and queer. We used to call each other queer or f@g growing up thinking it meant the same thing.
