I just don't understand.

If I call someone and don't leave a mess via Vm or text then it's not important. That's how I view incoming calls.
I have couple aquatienaces that call me periodically.
They never leave a message.
frick em. I never return their call.

Sometimes I'll make it obv, after 5th call to me , I'll text what's up?
They still don't get it.

Don't be that guy. Leave a message.

Do you have their number programmed? If you do then it's pretty clear that they were trying to reach you

If someone leaves me a voicemail and they aren't my boss or one of our clients they're dead to me

Where did you learn to write in such a choppy, incoherent style? It’s like reading a bad poem that doesn’t rhyme.

Checking voice mails that just say "call me back" are just a hassle. I saw I missed your call.

I don't understand what a mess is, like a dirty room?

I don't understand people who needlessly abbreviate words like they are still on AIM in 2004.

I agree. I don't leave a VM unless it is important enough for them to return the call. If I'm just calling to bullshite like check on how a fishing trip went, I'm not leaving a VM.

But make the message meaningful. Don't just say, "Hey, give me a call." That's dumb.

screw VMs, I don't leave them, I don't check them. Text me via SMS, g-chat or email or bug off.

Worked related calls should always include a vm message. Calling friends and not leaving a message is perfectly acceptable. I only leave messages if its urgent, otherwise they call me back when they have the opportunity.

I don't normally listen to my voicemails but rather call the person back after I see they called.

It's a personal pet peeve of mine when I call someone and I get a message a few seconds later along the lines of "whats up."

The only exception to this is if you can't pickup, but in general, I think a call warrants a return call, not a text.

I'm talking about friends and family you know, not unknown callers who call and don't leave a message.

what's your mobile number? I will make an effort to have the OT call you and leave you some messages since you lost your lithium.
