So now it's illegal again to shoplift in California? Since when? How are people supposed to keep up?

quote:

The Stockton Police Department released a photo of two girls they say shoplifted at a Target store in Stockton on Monday, May 30th.

They say the girls entered the store at Pacific Ave. and March Ln and grabbed several Texas Instrument Graphing calculators and took off without paying.

If you recognize them, you're asked to call Detective Sandoval at (209) 937-8176 or Stockton Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600.

You can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.

Of all the shite in Target….these fine outstanding college girls decided to just steal something to help them study. That’s so nice

They still make calculators?

If black people knew how to turn their phones sideways they’d know they don’t to steal calculators.

Not the angle I thought you were going for with this title. Still guilty.

A system is being developed now that works with your smart phone. You sign in when you enter. (No choice not to sign in.) It charges you for err'thing you leave with. I believe it will be implemented nationwide in less than 5 years

The cool thing is, with Biden gone, and hood rats stealing ended, prices should go down, except the system has to be paid for.

Californians trying to get equipment to try to learn how to do math.

Not the worst of crimes.

Texas Instrument Graphing calculators

Those still exist and are worth stealing?

I moved a few months ago and threw away two TI graphing calculators that were both at least 20 years old.

Wearing a puffy cold weather jacket in the summer would be a red flag to loss prevention….I’d think.

C’mon, think this through.

How can you watch Worldstar and do graduate level math if you don’t have a calculator?

Yep had to get one for my daughter. $3 Cascio at OD.

My first Calc was 6 digit commodore that paid $26 for at The Treasury Dept store in Memphis. I was so enamored with it. Early 70s

Walk in with sail foam, forget it in the store but walk out with all the goodies, return 5 minutes later to retrieve your lost sail foam.

The first calculator I saw was from TI and was over $100. Maybe, 1964?

It's Stockton, not San Francisco or Los Angeles.
