I am tired of fast food joints ripping me off, any theft charges possible?

Serious, they don't rip me off many times anymore because I try to check everything like a hawk. Now when my wife or daughter get things they rip them off damn near every time and I am tired of it.
Is there any recourse when you can catch them on video at the same location, hell any location, to make them responsible?
If I did that to a customer, took their money without giving them a product or service believe me there would be John R Law in my doorstep.
I believe they do this crap on purpose to increase their profit margin but I can't prove it.
