James Lindsey explains it pretty well on the Rogan podcast. It’s functioning as a religion.
As a religion there are varying degrees of followers. There are people neck deep in it, recite its messages daily, and use it to guide their lives. Others, follow along much more casually and pick pieces and parts to subscribe to, and ignore the the more orthodox aspects. Others yet barely pay attention to anything the religion of BLM actually says, because they stopped paying attention at “follow us if you like equality”

This is why nothing will get better. I want my community to do well as I am a stakeholder. But, the #1 priority is my family. That is where it all begins. Take care of family first and foremost. If you just skip over that straight to the larger community, then it will rot from the inside.
