Hypothetically speaking, what would you do if someone with a DNR goes into an arrest and is clearly struggling and in distress? Just stand by and hope it's over quickly?
That’s not how death happens.

The active dying stage was miserable. I literally at one point want to just strangle her to get it over with or OD her on a drug. Why euthanasia isn't legal is beyond me.

You can give enough drugs to “make them comfortable” but not actively kill them

She was never comfortable, no amount of morphine worked.
I meant more like could I go down to the Vegas strip and buy something that would kill immediately.

And yes I know the groans and pain grunts in the last few stages are not them in actual pain if you are trying to one up me on knowledge of that.

Any particular patient move you emotionally more than the others?
Has there been one patient that you remember more than the others?

can assure you that the amount of arse I took down before that eclipses your’s exponentially.
Hmm, your wording kind of makes his point.

I have to awkwardly ask someone in the home to witness me pour it down the sink and they sign a form while I’m on the death call.
They are probably happy to feel useful. It is awkward and terrible for them too.
