And, since Tariffs will force prices of American goods artificially higher. . .basically anything.
Yea, that's kinda the point when people attack the Musk/Tesla subsidies.

The overall point is that Musk’s company does not meet the market value it is currently holding due to certain outside forces, i.e. federal money.

Musk relies on subsidies for all of his businesses. Hell, his Solar City project bought panels from a sub who used prison labor at less than a dollar an hour.

But did you?

Where?

Do I seem upset?

I am more fascinated by your collectivist view of respect, and your implication that you get it from television news sources.

The real con with Musk is that he's figured out how to dupe the gov't and get tax payers to pay for much of his work

quote:

Call him a fraud because of that if you want, but every company out there would do the same if they could, not to mention many indeed do the same.

They do the same,a nd they do it more than Tesla, and Tesla is the only one to have paid monies back with interest. But...he's duping the government!!!!

quote:

The difference with him is that he has promised to change the world with his technology, so he's constantly under the microscope, and to this point has not really delivered.

I"m not even sure that he's actually promised this?

But at any rate, changing the world kinda takes time, it's not something you do in 5 years.

That are available to everyone, yes.

So of you have kids you don't take the child tax credit? Or if you were in school you wouldn't take the lifetime learning deduction? Or the student loan interest deduction? Or the mortgage interest deduction? Not everyone has kids, or went/goes to college or has a mortgage.

What a stupid fricking take.

That's offered to everyone with kids and is part of the tax code? Yep.

I think we are lost in translation somewhere. I've responded since PG 1. All I can do.

It’s the same principle.

The subsidies and breaks Musk receives are available to anyone willing to do what he has done.

It's part of the tax code.

Do you negotiate your tax credits?

Exactly and you said you only take credits or deductions offered to everyone.

Teslas incentives are available to anyone who wants to produce electric cars so you're reasoning is incorrect at best.

So these subsidies were offered to Tesla only, no one else?

Are you explicitly barred from doing so?
