Parts of Lafayette should be preparing like a tropical storm or weak hurricane is coming.
From the standpoint of picking up lightweight objects from outside. If you have a trampoline, anchor it down if you can.

60mph gust at LC airport. 53mph at Chenault. I don't think either would have seen the highest winds.

Just wind right now if it tries to form a tornado again in the same manner it would likely be South of Crowley.

KPLC showing a car rolled from the possible tornado in Sulphur. Whether it was a tornado or not, it took 100++ mph winds to roll a car like that.

That you would have gotten some of the highest winds. It has passed now, at least the worst wind.
