To where? The gulf coast? Central America? South America? What does the burden of a large caravan provide besides slowing you down?

First thing I would do is blow up the amite river bridges. Keep the Baton Rougeans on their side.

Fair strategy, but what would you use/how would you blow them up?

think I would head to a nearby backpacking supply store, and load up on freeze dried food,

Not a bad idea. But I would assume the owners of those stores would be taking those supplies for themselves asap and I doubt they keep large stocks. But certainly a decent idea

I think one thing most people don't account for under this scenario is how quiet it's going to be.

No radio/tv/headsets, no traffic road noise, no airplanes, nothing... just the birds and the breeze.

If you have a "running" generator or vehicle, you're an immediate target. Big time.

It's one of the biggest problems I have with Walking Dead. Shite's been years with zero background noise and yet Darryl rides all over sneaking up on Neegan with a Harley? It's bullshite. You'd hear that thing from 10 miles away.

Yea the risk/benefit isn’t worth it with a generator in a long term scenario

Call me crazy but my first move is to go to the pet store (a couple blocks away) and buy/take as much as I can carry them keep going back until nothing is left

You are soft. Get hungry enough I bet you scarf it down. I wouldn’t start eating it day 1 but when the real food runs out you will be begging for your kibbles and bits

We'd finally get to see some decent stars. Might be nice for a while
