I mean forget Obama and Al Gore, Yasser Arafat winning the Nobel Peace Prize shows how truly worthless it can be.

It does demean the award.

I applaud this man. Obviously realized his wife wasn't worthy of winning the same award as Cait

Caitlyn Jenner is not a woman until he cuts off the twig & berries.

If it's against what he believes, who are you to judge?

I applaud him

No doubt that part you quoted is spot on.

I haven't said really anything negative of Jenner, let him do what he wants. I didn't care about the ESPY and arguing over whether he was the most courageous compared to others, though it certainly took courage to do what he did.

But I completely agree that with all the hard working women out there, it really is a slap in the face to give it to a male, though the award itself is pretty irrelevant, so I'm not really up in arms over it.

Well, giving the award to Bruce was a political statement, so I think he's just playing on their level.

"Woman of the Year"---Dick and Balls
Does not compute.
I'm glad he gave it back.

This jenner shite has to end at SOME point. Like please frickING end. Please LORD ALMIGHTY END. Move to some remote island and live the rest of your life. I dont even want to look at that creature.

How, just HOW do Americans with free choices put forth such SHITTY people as idols? I cannot for the life of me understand the karshadian/jenner thing. They just do.....nothing.....who raised these people who worship them? What values were instilled in them as youth that led them to such terrible deceit?

every story about this thing is a sad sad sad day.

it did? He might just have a mental disorder. Is that implausible? I dont see the courage. The penis was never removed. He/she has benefitted greatly from this, far more than he/she would have if he/she didnt get the surgery.

Everything they do is just a ploy for attention, including this gender thing. Unfortunately that world they live in is a big business and people eat it up.

Why? I am proud to see someone stand up to the lie that caituce jenner is.

I hope more stand up, and I hope they tell us the story about how they did...at least until the whole charade quiets to nothing.

Real shitty to give your dead wife's award away. I'm sure it meant something to her, certainly more than some token to be given away over something so petty.

But why? fricking why??? What lost and depraved environment led them to value such beings of nothingness?

I hate the worship of actors as well...but frick, at least they can ACT. These people do NOTHING . Its like the Seinfeld, but the freak/celebrity version.

all I got out of this story is that the best woman of the year was a man. They even need help being the best woman, if this doesn't prove male dominance, I don't know what does.

Glamour is in the business of selling magazines.

That is what drove their decision to give the award to Jenner (and don't tell that husband, but it's also why they gave it to his 9/11 victim wife).

You think he doesn't know what his wife would have wanted? Maybe he knew she would have been disgusted as well. Maybe that was part of the reason he gave it back. I don't think you're in a position to question this guy knowing what his wife would have wanted. Not even close.

Maybe they thought it was a legitimate award. Maybe they just shouldnt give out awards at all if the criteria can change so easily. Seems like there aren't even any standards. Guess people wont accept these things anymore.
