I have to drive from Metry to Baton Rouge tomorrow morning for a meeting I don’t want to go to. I’m looking for an excuse to cancel. Will the weather be bad enough to use?

Located about 25 miles south of Orange Beach / Perdido Key, but Intensity Models still don't show much. 35 kts at best before landfall.

Yeah 'landfall' deserves quotes on this one. Better to take a direct hit from a tropical wave - maybe depression - than the alternative.
