Same!
Planning to fly out of MSY to Punta Cana a week from today. Thinking of trying to move flight and hotel reservation to Sunday instead. Thoughts?

The usual up the Mississippi troll track

Is it a practical joke among weathermen to always have at least one track shooting straight for New Orleans?

That's not a good look like in the runs. Plenty warm once it gets up in the Bahamas and all the way up the east coast.

Looks like Puerto Rico's in for a hard fricking.

Euro EPS takes this along the NHC track but does show potential for trouble if the storm can move north of the bigger islands.

Florida will notify Miami any minute now that tonights game is cancelled.
Next 5 with Miami to be played in Gainesville.

Those Florida tracks mean that Florida will whine and try not to play in Tiger Stadium again until 2028.
The fricking by the hurricane, at that point, will be nothing like the fricking Scott Woodward will put on them.

That's worst case scenario, going right over the loop current.

I’m not worried. He’s 4,000 miles away so the models are gonna change 75 more times before it goes wherever it’s going.

If it takes those northern tracks it might end up a problem because it's going to slip through possibly allowing it to strengthen on that track. The southern tracks have it dying out because it ingests too much dry air.
right now the storm is super small you can barely see it on radar.
