Looks like the newest run is moving it way east and much weaker. May get a fish storm based on this latest run atleast. Still running but has it come out of Cuba on the eastern side of Florida and heading to South Carolina.

Thankfully the GFS has performed horribly this season so far. Euro shows nothing 10 days out in the Gulf. Our collective PTSD shows in these model run by run swings. The midnight run had a weak storm going up the East coast of Florida on the GFS.

The GFS lost its mind, the Icon isn't developing anything now. So yeah take that GFS run with a warehouse full of salt.

Zack Fradella says the euro ensembles have apparently started to come on board a little overnight. I think it looks more likely that something develops but obviously could go anywhere from Mexico to Virginia

The GEFS ensembles does a crash into central America then another crash into Mexico. I'm not sure why the operational GFS is way different than the ensembles but it is.

Good thread on storm2k on why this is the case. The operational GFS and its coordinating ensembles are run with differing mechanics. The ensembles are run with a conservative platform, whereas the OP is not
