Can it please bring some rain. This drought is really starting to suck and the forecast has only gotten worse for the temps and lack of rain.

Zack Fradella @ZackFradellaWx A brutal stretch of heat is on the way over the next 5-10 days. Indications are a heat ridge will park itself right on top of LA. This will yield daily temps soaring into the upper 90’s to 100°+. Heat index values will likely exceed 110° each day meaning heat alerts are likely

Lee County - Not Hit For Years, Until I moved In

Don't click, it's an awful pay-to-play infectious "news" site.

When I got here in 2014 - "We don't get hurricanes, they go North & South". Irma & Ian said "Hi!". I am not worried, I didn't leave for either. But, why did we become a #1 hit when everyone assured me that "hurricanes don't hit SWFL"?

You didn’t leave but we were all doing geometry to figure out if trees could reach your house lol. Or something along those lines.

Here’s to a quiet season.

We were figuring if Brohawk needed to cut down a 4" tree before the 'cane hit. I believe it ended up being sacrificed so as not to take that chance.

We now have Tropical Storm Crystalball......that will have a grand lifespan of ~24 hours. What a waste.

Gotta pump those numbers - Tropical Storm Cristobal has formed. The current forecast calls for it to dissipate on Thursday.
